Bee Witched

Dear Stitchers,
here is finally the first summer pattern of this year, which takes up my famous series on bees. This time too I wanted to play with words and take the opportunity to combine two themes that I love very much, bees and witches! And so my Bee Witched set was born, where a beekeeping witch creates magical potions and spells with the gifts of her bees and the surrounding nature.

ecco finalmente il primo schema estivo di quest’anno, che riprende la mia famosa serie sulle api. Anche questa volta ho voluto giocare con le parole e cogliere l’occasione per unire due tematiche che amo moltissimo, le api, appunto, e le streghe! Ed ecco che è nato il mio set Bee Witched, dove una streghina apicoltrice crea magiche pozioni e incantesimi con i doni delle sue api e della natura circostante.

Among cruets, jars and witch’s hats, she works her magic, obviously to bring love, sweetness and beauty into the world.
In fact, the set includes the witch, an ornament with the ultimate bee potion and my favorite, an ornament that you can also finish as a bookmark, with the witch-bee!

Fra ampolline, barattoli e cappelli da strega, le compie la sua magia, ovviamente per portare amore, dolcezza e bellezza nel mondo.
Il set comprende infatti la streghina, un ornament con la pozione delle api – bee potion – e il mio preferito, un ornament che potete anche rifinire come segnalibro, con l’ape-strega!

Pride and Prejudice

Dear Needle and Thread Friends,
I’m happy to show you the latest pattern I created, dedicated to a novel that I’m sure many of you love. It is undoubtedly the best known and loved work of dear Jane Austen, and I wanted to represent it in the most romantic and delicate way. I really love profile figures in ovals, both as silhouettes and as portraits, I find them very beautiful and elegant, sweet and refined cameos. As with my other patterns in the literary series, I was inspired by them and by a somewhat ancient style, as well as by the great English houses. My wild roses were suitable for photographs.
I hope you like my version of Pride and Prejudice and that it transmits you the delicate romanticism that is still difficult to find, but that some still is able to give.

Care Amiche di Ago e Filo,
sono felice di mostrarvi l’ultimo schema che ho creato, dedicato a un romanzo che, sono certa, amiate in moltissime. È senza dubbio l’opera più nota e amata della cara Jane Austen, e ho voluto rappresentarlo nel modo più romantico e delicato. Amo molto le figure di profilo negli ovali, sia come sagome sia come ritratti, le trovo molto belle ed eleganti, dolci e raffinati cammei. Come per altri miei schemi della serie letteraria, mi sono ispirata ad essi e a uno stile un po’ antico, nonché alle grandi case inglesi. Le mie rose selvatiche si sono prestate per le fotografie.
Spero che la mia versione di Orgoglio e Pregiudizio vi piaccia e vi trasmetta quel delicato romanticismo che è difficile trovare ancora, ma che alcuni ancora riescono a donare.

The Door Bell Spell - FREE

Good morning Stitchers!
As I announced, a tiny gift is ready for all of you. This free pattern is designed to accompany my new Witch’s Bells – in particular the black and white ones – but you can download it and stitch it as single Stitched Spell and hang it on your front door or window, sewing a little bell at the base. It will be perfect! If instead you want to adopt the Witch’s Bells, you will also find this pattern inside the package, printed and ready to be stitched. I added a key to the side, if you want you can sew a similar one or a charm – the broom is also splendid – of about 4/5 cm to make it similar to the model. Or leave it as it is and finish it as you prefer.

Come vi avevo annunciato, è pronto un piccolo regalo per tutte voi. Questo schema free è pensato per accompagnare le mie nuove Witch’s Bells – in particolare quelle nere e bianche – ma potete scaricarlo e ricamarlo come Stitched Spell – Incantesimo Ricamato – e appenderlo alla vostra porta di ingresso o alla finestra, cucendovi un campanellino alla base. Sarà comunque perfetto! Se invece vorrete adottare le Witch’s Bells, troverete questo schema anche all’interno del pacchetto, stampato e pronto per essere ricamato. Io ho aggiunto una chiave a lato, se volete potete cucire un charm – anche la scopa è splendida – di circa 4/5 cm per renderlo simile al modello. Oppure lasciarlo così com’è e confezionarlo come preferite.
