Lizzie Borden Took an Axe

Good evening, dear Stitchers, I’m quietly arriving to show you perhaps the last of this year’s Halloween patterns, a pattern I created for the release of the Netflix TV series about Lizzie Borden. In creating this little pattern, I also listened to the requests of some of you who had asked me to do it in past years, taking advantage of my Little Horrors series.
This is my version, small and quick to stitch, like all my “Little Horrors” and “Legends for Halloween”, and as always, I wanted to use plenty of red… it’s my hidden side, a lover of gothic and elegant, antique-inspired horror.

I hope you enjoy my gory Lizzie, as you enjoyed Bloody Mary and, especially, Erszebet Bathory, and that, despite the subject matter, it can give you with a few pleasant and slightly disturbing hours of stitching…

Dorothy - The Fox Witch

Good evening, dear Stitchers, I’m finally ready with a pattern I should have made earlier but am only now able to share with you. As I mentioned, my sweet Betsy, the hare witch born a year ago, is joined by her companion in magic and potions, the lively Dorothy, a fox witch with her tartan skirt and autumnal bodice.

Dorothy loves making wreaths from dried leaves. She wanders the woods collecting the most beautiful and colorful ones, then stitches them together with beautiful thread and hangs them throughout the house, especially above the fireplace, where she lights a fire and cooks chestnuts.
Dorothy has sweet eyes, but hides a cheerful and joyful personality, and will bring sweetness and joy into your homes.
She slowly leads us towards Halloween and its mysterious magic.

Welcome Halloween

Dear Stitchers, evening comes, and with it the candles light and the pumpkins glow. It’s time to finally show you my new pattern from the “Welcome” series, this time, for the first time, dedicated not to the seasons but to the holidays! I present to you my Welcome Halloween, which unlike the seasons contains two additional squares! The pattern therefore contains everything Halloween-related: Jack O’Lantern, the little ghost, the witch, the haunted house, the bat, the spiders, the witch’s shoes, and so on.

As always, you can stitch the complete pattern as you see it, or divide it into twelve small ornaments to decorate your Halloween branch.
I’m more than sure you’ll have a lot of fun stitching it! I hope you’ll adopt it and that it brings you joy and lightheartedness!

See you soon with more witchy news!
A presto, con altre stregose novità!

History Witches III Mystery SAL

Dear Stitchers, after receiving several requests to continue this beloved series of historical witches, I’ve decided to design a third and final pattern, which will conclude the History Witches series, following the pattern structure you already know. I’m therefore happy to begin the third Mystery SAL dedicated to this theme so dear to us. As always, I write you the information you need to participate in the SAL below, reminding you that you can purchase it directly in my shop.

The History Witches III Mystery SAL is organized, like the previous ones, in five surprise steps that will accompany us, step by step, towards Halloween. The pattern portrays four historical women who in different centuries were accused of witchcraft. Together with them, this time I wanted to draw a symbol of the four nature elements, that are part of the natural magic.
For each step dedicated to each of the four witches, a short text is included that tells the story of the woman, her events and the sad epilogue of her life.
Each text also contains a little prayer to honor her memory.
Below you can see the first step of the Mystery SAL, with the structure of the pattern.

Clarification: The texts on the short history of each witch will be included only in the individual steps of the Mystery SAL. When the SAL will be finished and the complete pattern will be released, the texts relating to the four witches can be downloaded separately, by accessing the link that will be provided on the info page.

The History Witches III Mystery SAL begins today, September 17th and will end with the last step, October 15th.
The various steps, released one per week, on Thursday, that together with Saturday was always considered one of the days of witches, can be downloaded from the links provided in the first PDF sent. The links will be active only from the date indicated.
By ordering the History Witches III Mystery SAL you will therefore receive the PDF containing the first step and the page of links for the subsequent stages, which you will have to download independently.
Attention: For any problem with downloading the various steps, you can write to me and I will send you the individual PDF files attached to an email, each on the date indicated.
Write me at: info.thelittlestitcher@gmail.com

You can participate in the History Witches III Mystery SAL by ordering the pattern in my shop:
https://littlestitchershop.etsy.com

L’History Witches III Mystery SAL è organizzato, come i precedenti, in cinque tappe a sorpresa che ci accompagneranno, passo dopo passo, verso Halloween.

Tiny Mushroom Ghost - FREE

Good evening, Stitchers, I’m showing up so late because this is ghosts time, and here’s one just waiting for you. I mentioned a cute ornament that was featured in the Halloween issue of Just Cross Stitch a year ago, and I was about to upload it to my shop… but I thought better of it, and decided to give it to you for free!
This is the Tiny Mushroom Ghost, and he wanders through the red mushroom forests because he loves them so much. He also loves the company of those who loves him, so he’s delighted to come to all your homes to be stitched and keep you company until Halloween and beyond!
The pattern is perfect for a small oval frame, especially if it’s made of dark wood, but you can also create a cushion or a flat ornament by cutting the cardstock into an oval shape. As I mentioned, the pattern was designed for JCS, and now it’s available to all of you.

To download and get the Tiny Mushroom Ghost pattern click here: TINY MUSHROOM GHOST – FREE

This is the first pattern that opens my new Halloween patterns collection, so stay tuned!
See you very soon!

Bee a Stitcher

Hello Stitchers, here I am with something new! After my Witch Stitcher, that you loved so much, today I’m delighted to present a new pattern that combines the theme of us stitchers with that of bees! A young girl, perhaps a beekeeper, stitching with the help of her bees. The pattern is a tribute to bees and stitching.

In the two patterns that make up this little set, you’ll find the stitcher, with her sewing machine, spools of thread, pincushions shaped like little beehives, scissors, and a friendly bee with her hive. Then, in the ornament pattern, you’ll find a stitcher bee, with a needle, colored threads, and scissors. You can finish the ornament as a pincushion like mine, or as a needlebook or scissors bag.

I hope you enjoy the pattern and that it will keep you company during these warm, sunny months!

Welcome Summer - Sea Version

Dear Stitchers, I can finally present you the new version of my Welcome Summer pattern, part of the Welcome Seasons series. For me, summer is always twofold: on the one hand, “my” country summer, with all the warm colors reminiscent of ripe fruit and the sweet hues of bees and their golden world; on the other, the fresh, marine summer, with everything associated with a typical beach vacation, including the marine world and its special animals.

That’s why this year I wanted to create a second version of Welcome Summer, entirely dedicated to the sea. In this pattern, you’ll find the boat, the beach umbrella, the lighthouse, the sailor style costume, the seagull, but also the world of the seabed, with its coral, the sweet whale, the octopus, and shells!

As always, you can choose to stitch the entire pattern, or create ten different ornaments to hang in your home, or both!
I always try my best to make the patterns in my brand as beautiful and fun as possible, and I hope you enjoy this new version!
See you soon with other sweet surprises!

Old MacDonald Had a Farm

Dear Stitchers, with a little delay on my programs, I’m happy to show you my new pattern dedicated to one of the funniest songs every child knows from their earliest years: “Old MacDonald Had a Farm”. I designed this pattern with my beloved little animals in mind, which you’ve also loved so much over the years. I’ve designed twelve animals, some similar to the ones I’ve already made, others completely new, and all of them surround the beautiful farmhouse among the sunflowers.

Ne ho disegnati dodici, alcuni simili a quelli già fatti, altri completamente nuovi, e tutti circondano la bella fattoria immersa fra i girasoli.

The pattern features all the farm animals, including the dog and cat, the pig, the goat, the cow, the chicken, and all the others!
As always, you can create the complete pattern or the individual animals finished as ornaments. The central farm can also be finished as an ornament, so you can have fun creating whatever you want with this funny pattern, which brings many of us back to childhood.

I hope you enjoy it and that it brings joy and happiness to your days, especially this spring and summer!
See you soon with more exciting and fresh new things!

Jane Eyre Doll

Good evening, dear Stithcers! As I mentioned, I’m happy to present you the Jane Eyre Doll, very simple because of the simplicity of the period clothing, but accompanied by a lovely mantle that you can cut out and sew for her using a soft wool or cotton cloth. Combining two different styles, the cross stitch with the woolen dress, was perhaps a risky idea, but I love the result. In any case, if you don’t like it, you can also see the version of the doll without the cape.

Buonasera carissime Ricamine!

In this version, Jane is the sweet and resolute governess who walk through the moors on cloudy and foggy days, a girl who is perhaps a little melancholy but with a strong and profound character.

I hope you enjoy the doll, and if you want to stitch her, she will keep you company.

Jane Eyre at Thornfield Hall

Hello dear Stitchers, today I can finally show you my third and final pattern part of my series dedicated to Charlotte Brontë’s beloved novel, Jane Eyre, one of the most beautiful novels ever written. After dedicating a pattern to Jane and a quote from the book, and another pattern to little Jane at Lowood School, I wanted to portray Jane in the place where her destiny is fulfilled, Thornfield Hall, Mr. Rochester’s home, where she goes to work as governess to little Adele.

I chose my beloved icy gray colors to evoke the place, immersed in the mist of the moors yet at the same time warm in the beige of the walls and the hearts of those who live there: loving yet hidden by the ice.

I love Jane dearly, and I hope you enjoy this third and final pattern and that it reminds you of the settings and a hint of the beauty of the novel and the movies based on it.
And if you love dolls… stay tuned for a very cute Jane Eyre’s one!
See you soon!

A presto!

Little Long-Tailed Tit

Hello, dear Stitchers! Today I’m happy to show you to a new bird that I know many of you love, and that one of you asked me to draw: the little long-tailed tit! If you happen to see it in the woods, you’ll notice a little ball flying with a long, black and white tail! They’re incredibly sweet, and their song is even sweeter. Given their apricot-toned colors, I chose a very spring-like fabric, but you can make it however you like.

Buongiorno carissime Ricamine!

Like last year for my Little Fairy Wren, also this year the Long-Tailed Tit Days begin today: from today until April 15th, 2026, you can get it for free if you order two or more patterns in my shop! You don’t have to add it to your cart or purchase it with the other patterns; I’ll send it to you at no additional cost! If you prefer, you can simply purchase it at a slightly discounted price, again until April 15, when the offer ends.

Have a great spring time and stay tuned to my page for other news!

New Welcome Spring - Lavender version

My dear Stitchers, here in Italy in these past few days, winter has given way to the first warm sunshine and the beginnings of rebirth. The scent of spring is in the air, and there’s no better time to present the new version of my Welcome Spring, this time with a color change I adore. This version features all the shades of lavender! The pattern is the same as the turquoise one you already knew, but I wanted to give it a softer, more delicate hue, perfect for spring. So even the lavender bouquet in one of the squares is finally the right shade. I hope you enjoy this new version!

IMPORTANT:
An important thing for those who already purchased the Welcome Spring: starting today, you can download the pattern again from the link I already gave you when you purchased it, and you’ll find also the second version in lavender after the first one. Simply download it again and you’ll have both in the same PDF.
For those who purchase the pattern starting today, the two versions will be available separately. You can choose the turquoise or lavender version, or both, at the same price, with no increase if you choose just one or both.

IMPORTANTE:

Have a wonderful day and a happy transition from winter to spring.
See you soon with more sweet news!

Welcome Winter

My dear Stitchers, good evening everyone! I know many of you have been waiting for it, and finally the pattern that concludes the “Welcome Season” series is ready. I’m delighted to present you Welcome Winter! I’ve chosen my favorite colors: ice grays, a soft, pale beige, and, of course, a blaze of white. Each color is delicate, even silent, so as not to disturb winter, its slumbering nature, which is still full of magic and enchantment.

Carissime Ricamine, buonasera a tutte!

In this pattern, you’ll find everything that makes this white season magical: the snowflake, the snowman, the winter animals or the fawn, the tufted titmouse with its little house, and the stoat. And then everything you need for fun in the snow and ice: gloves, skis and ice skates. And of course, there are the candles that make winter and solstice evenings magical.
I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as the previous ones! I have to say it’s my favorite, but I love winter so much – I was born in winter, and I couldn’t choose a more beloved season.

You’ll probably think the series is over, and indeed it is… but as I mentioned some time ago, I had an idea for a different color palette for spring, to give those who prefer it a color alternative. So, the new Welcome Spring will be arriving soon, in a… different look! I hope you love it!

For now, I’ll leave you with my beloved Welcome Winter, and with warm wishes for a continued magical winter!
