Garden Treasures - The Little Treasures Series

Carissime, è stato un periodo di lavoro intenso ma finalmente sono pronta a mostrarvi il primo dei due nuovi schemi, che apre anche una nuova serie, quella dei Little Treasures, piccoli tesori, ornaments e oggettini ricamati per decorare e addobbare casa in occasione di moltissime occasioni e feste diverse!
Il primo schema della serie è Garden Treasures, che contiene sette schemi diversi sul giardino e sul giardinaggio.

Dear Stitchers and Friends, it was a busy time but finally I'm ready to show you the first of the two new patterns, that also opens a new series, The Little Treasures Series, with a lot of little ornaments and stitched trinkets to decorate your home during many different occasions and festivals!
The first pattern of the series is Garden Treasures, which contains seven different patterns about garden and gardening.

Troverete un disegno un po’ più grande, con la casetta e una bimba che porta alla sua Casa Dolce Casa i fiori appena colti, poi sue sorelle che fanno giardinaggio: la prima semina in abbondanza, mentre dietro di lei ogni seme comincia a germogliare e a sbocciare ad ogni suo passo; la seconda travasa i fiorellini cogliendoli e spostandoli con la sua carriola.
Ma… se tanti semi non si trovano più è solo perché è pieno di uccelletti che li mangiano, e con il loro schema potrete realizzare una Seeds Bag, una borsina porta semi.
Infine ho realizzato due nuovi animaletti, un nuovo uccellino e un coniglietto che ho confezionato come decori per i vasi di fiori.

You will find a design with a sweet house and a little girl who brings inside it the freshly picked flowers, then you will find two sisters that make gardening: the first one seed in abundance, while behind her every seed begins to sprout and blossom; the second one pick the flowers and moving them with her wheelbarrow.
But... if many seeds are gone is because it is full of birds that eat them, and with their pattern you can realize a sweet Seeds Bag.
Finally I realized two new animals, a new little bird and a rabbit that I finished as decorations for flowerpots.

In tutto avrete ben sette progetti da realizzare come preferite e con i quali potrete rendere ancora più bello il vostro giardino o la vostra casa, ora che la primavera sta sbocciando ovunque!
Spero che il nuovo set vi piaccia, ne seguiranno moltissimi altri!

With this set you will have seven little projects to be finish as you like and with whom you can decorate your garden or your home, now that spring is blooming everywhere!

Ma non è tutto… il prossimo fine settimana potrò finalmente pubblicare la storia di cui vi parlavo tempo fa.
Per me è la storia di tutte le storie… quella che ha riempito il mio cuore per tanti tanti anni.
Lo schema è THE NEVERENDING STORY, ispirato al film degli anni ’80 e al magnifico libro di Michael Ende.
Quindi, a presto, per volare insieme sulla candida groppa del nostro amato Fortunadrago!

But that's not all... the next weekend I can finally publish the story I mentioned recently.
For me it is the story of all stories... the one that filled my heart for many many years.
The pattern is THE NEVERENDING STORY, inspired by the 80s movie and by the magnificent book by Michael Ende.

Cinderella and The Fairy Godmother

C’era una volta una fanciulla tanto bella e buona che non ve n’erano di uguali. Viveva con la matrigna e le due sorellastre, che ogni giorno le facevano spazzare e lavare e rassettare tutta la casa, e la facevano dormire accanto al camino, in mezzo alla cenere. Per questo la fanciulla era sempre sporca e suoi abiti erano strappati e rattoppati qua e là. Ma il suo animo era limpido, e il suo cuore amorevole e puro.
Il suo nome era Cenerentola…
…e questi sono i disegni che ho voluto dedicare a lei.

Once upon a time there was a girl so beautiful and good that there were none of equals. She lived with his stepmother and two stepsisters, whose every day made her sweep and wash and tidy up the whole house, and made her sleep by the fire, in the ashes. For this reason the girl was always dirty and her clothes were torn and patched here and there. But her mind was clear, and her heart was loving and pure.
Her name was Cinderella…
…and these are the designs that I dedicated to her.

Per questi disegni ho voluto raccolto alcuni particolari da due versioni della storia di Cenerentola, la prima dei Fratelli Grimm e la seconda di Charles Perrault. Vi consiglio caldamente di leggere entrambe le fiabe perché sono bellissime, molto più del cartone animato che ne è stato tratto da Disney.
Il particolare della Fata Madrina, che chiede a Cenerentola di portarle una grossa zucca, e poi i topolini – e persino sei lucertole che la Fata trasforma in lacchè – proviene dalla fiaba raccolta da Perrault, mentre nella versione dei Fratelli Grimm, che a mio parere è dolcissima, è presente il particolare dell’uccellino bianco, che vive su un alberello di nocciolo, cresciuto sulla tomba della madre della fanciulla. L’uccellino esaudisce le preghiere di Cenerentola e le lancia col beccuccio gli abiti che lei indosserà le tre sere del ballo a corte, uno più bello dell’altro.
In entrambe le fiabe naturalmente è presente il particolare della scarpetta lasciata al castello del principe, ma se nella versione di Perrault è di vetro trasparente, in quella dei Grimm cambia sempre, a seconda dell’abito indossato dalla ragazza.

For these designs I wanted to put together some details of two versions of the story of Cinderella, the first by the Brothers Grimm and the second by Charles Perrault. I warmly suggest you to read both fairy tales because they are beautiful, much more the cartoon adapted by Disney.
The detail of the Fairy Godmother, who asks Cinderella to bring her a big pumpkin, and then the mice - and even six lizards that the Fairy turns into lackeys - comes from the fairytale collected by Perrault, while in the version collected by the Brothers Grimm, which in my opinion is so sweet, there is the lovely white bird, which lives on a hazel tree grown on the grave of the mother of the maiden. The bird hears the prayers of Cinderella and launches her the clothes she will wear in the three evenings of dance at the court.
In both tales there is the detail of the little shoe left at the castle, but if in Perrault's version it is made of transparent glass, in the one by the Brothers Grimm it always change, depending on the different and beautiful dresses worn by the girl.

The Colors of Christmas - Russet Christmas

Il profumo di arancia, zenzero e cannella riempie l’aria, il fuoco arde nel caminetto e i biscottini di pan di zenzero sono pronti per essere sfornati.
La dolcezza e la fragranza delle spezie scaldano il cuore, mentre la neve cade fuori dalla finestra, ammantando tutto nel suo biancore…
I toni dell’arancio, del marroncino e soprattutto del color ruggine sono il tema di questo terzo set di schemi per la serie The Colors of Christmas.

Orange, ginger and cinnamon scent fills the air, the fire is burning in the fireplace and Gingerbread cookies are ready to be baked.
The sweetness and the spices fragrance warm the heart, while the snow falls outside, blanketing everything in its pure whiteness...
The shades of orange, brown and especially russet are the theme of this third set of patterns for my The Colors of Christmas series.

Troverete la casetta di pan di zenzero, tanti omini pan di zenzero e uno schema più grande e molto speciale, che contiene gli ingredienti per preparare i biscotti di pan di zenzero!

You will find the Gingerbread House, many Gingerbread Men and a bigger and very special pattern, which contains the ingredients to make the Gingerbread cookies!

Se volete preparare i biscotti vi basterà unire tutti gli ingredienti, impastare con le mani, stendete la pasta… e ovviamente tagliarla con le formine degli omini.

If you want to prepare this cookies you can combine all the ingredients, knead with your hands, roll out the dough... and obviously cut it with the Gingerbread men cookie cutters.

Ma non è tutto… pensavate che vi avrei lasciate senza un regalo di Natale?! :D
Per l’occasione, ho creato un altro ornament del Russet Christmas, ispirato ai biscottini di pan di zenzero a forma di fiocchi di neve glassati, ed è il mio schema free per tutte voi.
