The Witch's Bells - Wild Rose Limited Edition

Good morning Stitchers! Today I present you a very very limited edition – only three ones at the moment – of my Witch’s Bells, the sweet wild rose version. I wanted to create them one year ago, but the pink lace I found was not beautiful, I sent it back and I waited to find another one. I found this one in autumn but in a very short length. So I created only these romantic Witch’s Bells, but I hope to have other ones soon. Adopt your own one soon!

Buongiorno Ricamatrici! Oggi vi presento una edizione davvero limitata – ne ho soltanto tre al momento – delle mie Witch’s Bells, la versione wild rose. Volevo crearla un anno fa, ma il pizzo che avevo acquistato non era affatto bello, così l’ho reso e ho aspettato di trovarne uno migliore. Ho trovato questo lo scorso autunno ma in una lunghezza molto limitata. Così ho potuto creare solo queste Witch’s Bells, ma spero di averne altre presto.

I remember how my Witch’s Bells was born, one year ago and what they are:

This is my version of the famous Witch’s Bells. I wanted to create them according to my personal preference, adding my beloved lace and a beautiful charm key. I love simplicity, so I didn’t want to add anything else. I find them simple, elegant and truly magical!
Each Witch’s Bell is made up of three bronze-colored brass bells and a key. The lace is hand sewn onto the rope knot.
It is contained in a small pure cotton bag, which you can also use for other purposes, as I wanted the creations to be entirely made of natural materials. Inside the bag you will also find the explanation of what the Witch’s Bells are and a little spell that you can pronounce when you hang it on the door. In fact, the Witch’s Bell traditionally protects the house and those who live there, keeping negative influences of all kinds away. Believing or not, it can also be simply a cute decoration for your home.
The Witch’s Bells are available in different colors, but the basic colors you will always find are snow white, antique beige and obviously the most witchy, midnight black. They are all handmade, so each one is unique. The key that accompanies them may vary depending on availability. Always based on the availability of colored lace and charms, you can also request your favorite Witch’s Bell, choosing its color and key. I will be happy to realize it especially for you.

Ricordo come le mie Witch’s Bells sono nate un anno fa, e cosa sono:

Questa è la mia versione delle famose Witch’s Bells. Ho voluto crearle secondo il mio gusto personale, aggiungendo i miei amati pizzi e una bellissima chiave charm. Amo la semplicità, per cui non ho voluto aggiungere altro. Le trovo semplici, eleganti e davvero magiche!
Ogni Witch’s Bell è formata da tre campanelle di ottone color bronzo, e da una chiave. Il pizzo è cucito a mano sul nodo della corda.
È contenuta in un sacchettino di puro cotone, che potrete utilizzare anche per altri scopi, in quanto ho voluto che la piccola creazione fosse interamente di materiale naturale, anche nella sua confezione. All’interno del sacchettino troverete anche la spiegazione di cosa siano le Witch’s Bells e un piccolo incantesimo che potrete pronunciare quando la appenderete alla porta. La Witch’s Bell infatti, tradizionalmente protegge la casa e coloro che vi abitano, tenendo lontane le influenze negative di ogni genere. Che ci si creda o meno, può essere anche solo una decorazione carina per la vostra casa.
Le Witch’s Bells sono disponibili in diversi colori, ma i colori base che troverete sempre sono il bianco neve, il crema antico e ovviamente le più stregose, il nero notte. Sono tutte realizzate a mano, per cui ognuna è unica. La chiave che le accompagna potrà variare a seconda della disponibilità. Sempre in base alla disponibilità dei pizzi colorati e dei charm potrete anche richiedere la vostra Witch’s Bell preferita, scegliendone il colore e la chiave. Sarò felice di confezionarla apposta per voi.

NEW Tiny Witch's Bells

Dear witchy Stitchers,
I am very happy to present my new Tiny Witch’s Bells, this time small and really cute, with their relief of a bird and a hare on each one. They are so tiny that they seem even more precious and a bit magical, and I have long wanted to add them to the other larger ones releases last spring.
This time, due to their particularity, I preferred to create them in the single and double version.

Carissime ricamatrici stregose,
sono felicissima di presentarvi le mie nuove Tiny Witch’s Bells, o Campanelle della Strega, questa volta piccoline e davvero carine, con il loro rilievo di un uccellino e di una lepre su ciascuna. Sono talmente piccole da sembrare ancora più preziose e un po’ magiche, e desideravo da tempo aggiungerle alle altre uscite in primavera, più grandi.
Questa volta, per la loro particolarità, ho preferito confezionarle nella versione singola, e doppia.

These Tiny Witch Bells can be hung on your front door, on a window, on your craft room, or because of their small size, on an object you want to protect, such as a diary, a casket, a little altar, or your car – in this case the protection also extends to your travels – or anything you want. Together with the bells, as with my other Witch’s Bells, a small sheet is included that explains how to give them a touch of magic, and two cute formulas to enchant them and dedicate them to their purpose of protection and luck.
You will find them with a fine white lace, more witchy with black lace, and my favorites, with light blue lace, almost ice-colored.

Queste piccole campanelle possono essere appese alla porta di casa, a una finestra, alla propria stanza della creatività, oppure per la loro piccola dimensione, a un oggetto che si desidera proteggere, come un diario, uno scrigno, un piccolo altare, oppure la propria macchina – in questo caso la protezione si estende anche ai propri viaggi – o tutto ciò che si desidera.
Insieme alle campanelle, come per le altre mie Witch’s Bells, è compreso un breve testo che spiega come dare loro un tocco di magia, e due formule carine per incantarle e dedicarle al loro scopo di protezione e fortuna.
Le troverete con un fine pizzo bianco, più stregose col pizzo nero, e le mie preferite, con il pizzo azzurro chiaro, quasi color ghiaccio.

You can order them as always in my shop, for now the blue ones are in limited quantities, but they will be available again soon. If you order them soon they will surely arrive before Halloween, if you want to make this ancient celebration more magical or give them to fiends or familiars as gifts.

A Witch Lives Here

I have in my mind that a Witch’s house is always full of little magics hidden in every corner, and that even when it is shady and a little disturbing, it always has a sort of welcome all its own, magical in its own way.
It is a house in which souls often find warmth and healing, more than the bodies they inhabit, and a strange yet beautiful light surrounds them. They are houses suspended in time, and whoever is lucky enough to be welcomed there, remains outside of time, at least until, setting foot outside their threshold, they re-enter the common world.
I have felt this sensation, a few times. And for a moment, leaving those places, I did not remember where I was and how long I had “been out”. I have the intimate hope of making my house the same way, little by little, sooner or later.
I will certainly hang something there that reminds, even just myself, to nourish the magic every day. Because that is what witches do, they keep the magic alive, like the flame that burns under their cauldrons.

Ho in mente che la casa di una Strega sia sempre piena di piccolo magie nascoste in ogni angolo, e che anche quando è ombrosa e un po’ inquietante, abbia sempre una sorta di accoglienza tutta sua, magica a suo modo.
È una casa nella quale spesso le anime trovano calore e guarigione, più dei corpi nei quali abitano, e una luce strana eppure bella le avvolge. Sono case sospese nel tempo, e chiunque abbia la fortuna di venirvi accolto, resta fuori dal tempo, almeno fino a quando, mettendo un piede fuori dalla loro soglia, non rientra nel mondo comune.
L’ho provata questa sensazione, qualche volta. E per un attimo, uscita da quei luoghi, non ricordavo dove fossi e da quanto tempo ero “stata fuori”. Ho l’intima speranza di rendere la mia casa nello stesso modo, poco a poco, prima o poi.
Di certo vi appenderò qualcosa che ricordi, anche solo a me stessa, di nutrire la magia ogni giorno. Perché è questo che fanno le streghe, mantengono accesa la magia, come la fiamma che arde sotto ai loro calderoni.

I designed this set, a little cute and a little playful, to give that extra touch of sweetness and humor to the witchiness that is in some of us – sometimes more than we think.
You will find the black cat, which has always been the emblem of the witch’s familiar, then a white pumpkin – black cats and white pumpkins are one of my obsessions, I love them! – and finally a cute ornament to hang on the door when you are busy preparing your filters and spells: “The witch is in, do not disturb!”

Ho disegnato questo set, un po’ carino e un po’ scherzoso, per dare quel tocco in più di dolcezza e umorismo all’essere strega che c’è in alcune di noi – a volte più di quante pensiamo.
Troverete il gatto nero, da sempre emblema del famiglio della strega, poi una zucchetta bianca – gatti neri e zucche bianche sono una delle mie ossessioni, li adoro! – e infine un simpatico ornament da appendere alla porta quando sarete impegnate a preparare i vostri filtri e incantesimi: “La strega è dentro, non disturbare!”

Summer Witch's Bells

If I think about a Witch who loves summer and takes on its attitudes and colors, I immediately think about a Witch of bees, honey and sun. This is why I thought of making my Witch’s Bells suitable for her, in the colors of honey and sunshine. They are a limited edition, I created only a few for a few summer witches – or aspiring ones.

Se penso a una Strega che ama l’estate e ne riveste le attitudini e i colori, non posso fare a meno di pensare a una Strega delle api, del miele e del sole. Per questo ho pensato di rendere adatte a lei le mie Campane della Strega, nei colori del miele e del sole. Sono un’edizione limitata, ne ho create poche per poche streghine – o aspiranti tali – estive.
