Little Fairy Wren and the Fairy Wren Days

Good evening Stitchers! Today I want to show you a magical bird that nature has created in all its grace and beauty, the little Fairy Wren – that’s exactly its name!
Being a special little bird, it brings magic and luck wherever it flies, for this reason I have decided that for some days, the Fairy Wren Days that will last until May 2nd 2025, it will be a gift for you if you order two patterns in my Etsy shop. Otherwise you can buy it in my shop.
It is a tiny bird, with characteristic turquoise feathers, both on its wings and tail, and when it flies, just seeing it is magic for the eyes! The pattern includes both versions of the little Fairy Wren, which you can make as ornaments or with a small frame.

Buonasera Ricamatrici! Oggi vi voglio presentare un uccellino magico che la natura ha creato in tutta la sua grazia e bellezza, il piccolo Fairy Wren, lo Scricciolo Fatato – è proprio il suo nome!
Essendo un uccellino speciale, porta magia e fortuna ovunque voli, per questo ho deciso che per alcuni giorni, i Fairy Wren Days che dureranno fino al 2 maggio 2025, sarà un regalo per voi se acquisterete due schemi nel mio negozio Etsy. Altrimenti lo potrete acquistare comunque nel mio negozio.
È un uccellino minuscolo, dalle caratteristiche piume turchesi, sia nelle ali che nella coda, e quando vola, il solo vederlo è una magia per gli occhi!
Lo schema comprende entrambe le versioni del piccolo Fairy Wren, che potrete confezionare come ornament o con una piccola cornice.

I really hope you like it, it’s been a long time now that I’m not able to create patterns that you love enough for purchasing as much as before, and for me it is painful and increasingly difficult to do this work with joy, as I have always done. For this reason, I don’t know how much longer I will be able to do it. I hope this little bird brings me a bit of joy too.

Rapunzel

Hello Stitchers, today is a particular day, but I still choose to show you this new pattern that is finally ready and that I love very much. It is the last of the fairy tales that I have designed, I know that there is a similar pattern, in primitive style, very cute, but since I think there is not a better way to depict this fairy tale, I wanted to create my own personal version.
Rapunzel is one of the most beloved fairy tales, and lately I have rediscovered it through my inner research in the world of fairy tales, which I have always experienced as stories of inner growth.
The stitched phrase is freely taken from the fairy tale itself, as told by the Brothers Grimm.

Buongiorno Ricamatrici, oggi è una giornata particolare, ma scelgo comunque di mostrarvi questo nuovo schema che è finalmente pronto e che amo molto. È l’ultima delle fiabe che ho disegnato, so che esiste uno schema simile, in stile primitive, molto carino, ma dato che non credo vi sia un modo migliore di raffigurare questa fiaba, ho voluto creare la mia versione personale.
Raperonzolo è una delle fiabe più amate, e ultimamente l’ho ritrovata attraverso la ricerca interiore nel mondo delle fiabe, che ho sempre vissuto come racconti di crescita interiore.
La parte ricamata è liberamente tratta dalla fiaba stessa, come raccontano i Fratelli Grimm.

“Rapunzel was the most beautiful child in the world. When she was twelve years old the witch shut her up in a tower in the midst of a wood, and it had neither steps nor door, only a small window above. When the witch wished to be let in, she would stand below and would cry,

“Rapunzel, Rapunzel!
Let down your hair!”

Rapunzel had beautiful long hair that shone like gold. When she. heard the voice of the witch she would undo the fastening of the upper window, unbind the plaits of her hair, and let it down twenty ells below, and the witch would climb up by it.”

“Raperonzolo divenne la più bella bambina del mondo, ma non appena compì dodici anni, la maga la rinchiuse in una torre alta alta che non aveva scala n‚ porta, ma solo una minuscola finestrella in alto. Quando la maga voleva salirvi, da sotto chiamava:

“Oh Raperonzolo, sciogli i tuoi capelli
che per salir mi servirò di quelli.”

Raperonzolo aveva infatti capelli lunghi e bellissimi, sottili come oro filato. Quando la maga chiamava, ella scioglieva le sue trecce, annodava i capelli in alto, al contrafforte della finestra, in modo che essi ricadessero per una lunghezza di venti braccia, e la maga ci si arrampicava.”

In the pattern I accompanied the beautiful Rapunzel with the climbing wild rose, my favorite one.

The Witch's Bells - Wild Rose Limited Edition

Good morning Stitchers! Today I present you a very very limited edition – only three ones at the moment – of my Witch’s Bells, the sweet wild rose version. I wanted to create them one year ago, but the pink lace I found was not beautiful, I sent it back and I waited to find another one. I found this one in autumn but in a very short length. So I created only these romantic Witch’s Bells, but I hope to have other ones soon. Adopt your own one soon!

Buongiorno Ricamatrici! Oggi vi presento una edizione davvero limitata – ne ho soltanto tre al momento – delle mie Witch’s Bells, la versione wild rose. Volevo crearla un anno fa, ma il pizzo che avevo acquistato non era affatto bello, così l’ho reso e ho aspettato di trovarne uno migliore. Ho trovato questo lo scorso autunno ma in una lunghezza molto limitata. Così ho potuto creare solo queste Witch’s Bells, ma spero di averne altre presto.

I remember how my Witch’s Bells was born, one year ago and what they are:

This is my version of the famous Witch’s Bells. I wanted to create them according to my personal preference, adding my beloved lace and a beautiful charm key. I love simplicity, so I didn’t want to add anything else. I find them simple, elegant and truly magical!
Each Witch’s Bell is made up of three bronze-colored brass bells and a key. The lace is hand sewn onto the rope knot.
It is contained in a small pure cotton bag, which you can also use for other purposes, as I wanted the creations to be entirely made of natural materials. Inside the bag you will also find the explanation of what the Witch’s Bells are and a little spell that you can pronounce when you hang it on the door. In fact, the Witch’s Bell traditionally protects the house and those who live there, keeping negative influences of all kinds away. Believing or not, it can also be simply a cute decoration for your home.
The Witch’s Bells are available in different colors, but the basic colors you will always find are snow white, antique beige and obviously the most witchy, midnight black. They are all handmade, so each one is unique. The key that accompanies them may vary depending on availability. Always based on the availability of colored lace and charms, you can also request your favorite Witch’s Bell, choosing its color and key. I will be happy to realize it especially for you.

Ricordo come le mie Witch’s Bells sono nate un anno fa, e cosa sono:

Questa è la mia versione delle famose Witch’s Bells. Ho voluto crearle secondo il mio gusto personale, aggiungendo i miei amati pizzi e una bellissima chiave charm. Amo la semplicità, per cui non ho voluto aggiungere altro. Le trovo semplici, eleganti e davvero magiche!
Ogni Witch’s Bell è formata da tre campanelle di ottone color bronzo, e da una chiave. Il pizzo è cucito a mano sul nodo della corda.
È contenuta in un sacchettino di puro cotone, che potrete utilizzare anche per altri scopi, in quanto ho voluto che la piccola creazione fosse interamente di materiale naturale, anche nella sua confezione. All’interno del sacchettino troverete anche la spiegazione di cosa siano le Witch’s Bells e un piccolo incantesimo che potrete pronunciare quando la appenderete alla porta. La Witch’s Bell infatti, tradizionalmente protegge la casa e coloro che vi abitano, tenendo lontane le influenze negative di ogni genere. Che ci si creda o meno, può essere anche solo una decorazione carina per la vostra casa.
Le Witch’s Bells sono disponibili in diversi colori, ma i colori base che troverete sempre sono il bianco neve, il crema antico e ovviamente le più stregose, il nero notte. Sono tutte realizzate a mano, per cui ognuna è unica. La chiave che le accompagna potrà variare a seconda della disponibilità. Sempre in base alla disponibilità dei pizzi colorati e dei charm potrete anche richiedere la vostra Witch’s Bell preferita, scegliendone il colore e la chiave. Sarò felice di confezionarla apposta per voi.
