I am finally ready to present you my new Christmas patterns, a myriad of new projects that will bring you joy, colors and brightness to your homes and… to your Christmas Tree!
The Christmas period is a source of great inspiration for me, my main difficulty is to give myself self-control! I believe that this is a time of the year when it is particularly important to spread the joy of the heart, to light up the darkness and make it as welcoming, warm and joyful as possible. And this is what I always try to do with my drawings, but also with my writings: to bring that joy and that pinch of luminous magic that warm inside, and make the days better. A little light in the darkness, and colors in the black.
So here we are with the new designs I have prepared for you this year, all dedicated to Christmas fairs, including carousels and colorful balloons.

finalmente sono pronta a presentarvi i miei nuovi schemi natalizi, una miriade di nuovi progetti che porteranno gioia, colori e luce nelle vostre case e… sul vostro Albero di Natale!
Il periodo natalizio è per me fonte di grande ispirazione, la mia principale difficoltà è darmi un contegno! Credo che questo sia un momento dell’anno in cui sia particolarmente importante diffondere la gioia del cuore, per illuminare il buio e renderlo il più possibile accogliente, caldo e gioioso. Ed è questo che cerco sempre di fare con i miei disegni, ma anche con i miei scritti: portare quella gioia e quel pizzico di magia luminosa che scaldano dentro, e rendono le giornate migliori. Un pizzico di luce nel buio, e di colori nel nero.
Eccoci dunque ai nuovi disegni che ho preparato per voi quest’anno, tutti dedicati ai mercatini natalizi, fra giostre e mongolfiere colorate.
The first pattern amuses me a lot! Its title, Santa is in the Air, made me laugh as soon as it came to my mind, because that's exactly how it is: Santa Claus , and the Christmas he brings and spreads, is “in the air”, in every sense! He is arriving with a big hot air balloon from which he drops large and tiny presents, which magically enter the chimneys of the houses and gently settle under the Christmas Tree. How much magic has this night, which keeps us awake with our noses upwards… and who knows if instead of sleds and reindeer, this year a bright balloon will not appear!
Four other small hot air balloons are included as ornaments for your decorations, to be stitched in a few hours and maybe even given to your friends.
Il primo schema, mi diverte moltissimo! Il suo titolo, Santa is in the Air, non appena mi è venuto in mente mi ha fatta ridere, perché è proprio così: Babbo Natale è “nell’aria”, in tutti i sensi! Sta arrivando con una grande mongolfiera dalla quale lascia cadere pacchetti e pacchettini, che magicamente entrano dai camini delle case e si adagiano dolcemente sotto l’albero di Natale. Quanta magia in questa notte, che ci tiene sveglie con il naso all’insù… e chissà che invece di slitta e renne, quest’anno non compaia proprio una luminosa mongolfiera!
Altre quattro piccole mongolfiere fanno da ornaments per le vostre decorazioni, da ricamare in poche ore e magari regalare anche alle vostre amiche.
The second pattern is the more challenging one, and is inspired by the markets and the great Christmas fairs! There are stalls, a large Ferris wheel, and then balloons and cotton candy, loved by children… and more! I don’t know about you, but it’s not Christmas for me if I don’t visit at least three or four Christmas markets, among medieval villages, lakes and decorated villages. This is why I wanted to let this idea inspired me and develop it in the way I preferred, hoping that you will like it too.
Il secondo schema è quello un po’ più impegnativo, ed è ispirato ai mercatini e alle grandi fiere del Natale! Ci sono le bancarelle, una grande ruota panoramica, e poi palloncini e zucchero filato, amati dai bambini… e non solo! Non so voi, ma per me non è Natale se non visito almeno tre o quattro mercatini, fra borghi medievali, laghi e paesini addobbati. Per questo ho voluto lasciarmi ispirare da questa idea e svilupparla nel modo che preferivo, sperando che possa piacere anche a voi.
Finally, the third pattern, Christmas Carousel, is dedicated to the sweet carousels on which as children I’m sure we all had fun. The carousel turns with its white horses that rise and fall, to the rhythm of Christmas carols. I imagine this design with a musical background of music boxes and bells, and I had so much fun creating it that I think it will not be the only one dedicated to this theme.
So… let’s go back as little girls, choose the most beautiful horse, the one that seems to climb higher, and take our merry-go-round… who knows it won’t bring us luck!
Infine, il terzo schema, Christmas Carousel, è dedicato al dolcissimo carosello di Natale, sul quale da piccole sono sicura che ci siamo divertite tutte quante. Il carosello gira con i suoi cavallini bianchi che salgono e scendono, al ritmo dei canti natalizi. Immagino questo disegno con un sottofondo musicale di carillon e campanellini, e mi sono divertita così tanto a crearlo che penso non sarà l’unico dedicato a questo tema.
Torniamo un po’ bambine, scegliamo il cavallo più bello, quello che sembra salire più in alto, e facciamo il nostro giro di giostra… chissà che non ci porti fortuna!
For the moment that’s all, but who knows if other surprises will arrive, and maybe a small gift that will keep you company in the first winter nights…?

Per il momento questo è tutto, ma chissà che non arrivino altre sorprese, e magari un piccolo regalo che vi terrà compagnia nelle prime notti d’inverno…?

Tesora, ma sono davvero carinissimi! Mi piacciono da morire, specialmente quelli dedicati ai mercatini natalizi *_ * Lo scorso anno, purtroppo, non ho potuto visitarne nemmeno uno a causa delle restrizioni... Chissà se quest'anno ce la farò!
