THE LITTLE STITCHER

C'era una volta, in un tempo passato, seppur forse ancora presente, una piccola ricamatrice dagli occhi ridenti, che trascorreva molte delle sue ore a disegnare, ricamare e cucire ciò che la natura e l'ispirazione raccolta laddove ne trovava, le suggerivano. Piccoli animali prendevano vita dalle sue mani, le erbe ricamate al chiar di luna profumavano quanto quelle raccolte nelle radure dei boschi, e candidi fiocchi di neve si scioglievano sulla tela come fossero caduti dal cielo d'inverno. Accanto al caminetto la fanciulla ricamava in silenzio, a volte canticchiando melodie segrete che solo lei conosceva, immersa nei colori antichi e polverosi che più le piacevano, e nel cuore della notte dava vita alle sue piccole creature, nelle quali imprimeva la dolcezza e la gioia che vedeva nascere e crescere intorno a lei, nella Natura Incantata.

The Little Stitcher ama la Natura e presta attenzione all'ambiente naturale e ai suoi delicatissimi equilibri, purtroppo sconvolti dagli infiniti interventi distruttivi operati dall'uomo.
Gli schemi di The Little Stitcher, pertanto, sono tutti stampati su fogli di carta reciclata oppure certificata FSC ("Forest Stewardship Council"), ovvero proveniente da foreste gestite secondo criteri di sostenibilità ambientale; e se non mostrano differenza alcuna rispetto ad altri semplici fogli bianchi, FANNO la differenza rispetto alla Natura e alle sue creature.
The Little Stitcher sostiene l'ambiente e invita ognuno a fare lo stesso.

The Lady and the Unicorn

One of these tapestries, the largest and most beautiful one, bearing the french words "A mon seul desir" ("my only desire"). This phrase is difficult to interpret, but considering the beauty of these tapestries, that illustrate the flourished nature and the grace of the Lady beside the Unicorn, which symbolizes pure and divine Love, the words could mean that this Love is "the only desire", in front of which every material richness is put away, as well as the lady puts the necklace in her coffer.
