the new pattern that I present to you today is entirely dedicated to the sea and its symbols, one for each different aspect. A symbol, the rudder, to navigate it and maintain the course on your journey; an animal, the seagull, which flies over the waters and fishes beneath their surface; a place, the lighthouse, which lights the way and leads home; a mythological creature, the mermaid, who governs its depths and protects it. The world of the sea, in all its nuances, between reality and legend, evoking its magic that is at times peaceful and hieratic, at times stormy and ruthless.

il nuovo schema che vi presento oggi è interamente dedicato al mare e ai suoi simboli, uno per ogni diverso aspetto. Un simbolo, il timone, per navigarlo e mantenere la rotta nel proprio viaggio; un animale, il gabbiano, che sorvola le acque e pesca sotto la loro superficie; un luogo, il faro, che illumina la via e conduce a casa; una creatura mitologica, la sirena, che governa le sue profondità e le protegge. Il mondo del mare, in ogni suo sfumatura, fra realtà e leggenda, evocando la sua magia a tratti pacifica e ieratica, a tratti tempestosa e spietata.
I have brought together what I love most about the sea in a composition that you can also stitch in a different way, creating four very cute ornaments.
I have this design very close to my heart, it appeared in my mind exactly as you see it, and I hope to have realized in the best possible way. I hope you like it, and that it brings a breath of fresh air into your homes and, if you will stitch it on holiday, in your relaxing days at the beach.
Ho riunito insieme ciò che del mare amo di più in una composizione che tuttavia potete anche ricamare in modo scomposto, realizzando quattro ornament molto carini.
