Christmas is arriving, and with it comes also the magic of winter, with its colors and music.
This year I created three new patterns that hold the joy of Christmas, and I decided to publish also three ornaments that have been part of the famous American magazine Just Cross Stitch - Christmas Ornaments in the years 2015, 2016 and 2017. From this year they will be available to all, even to those who have not been able to get the magazine in the past years.

il Natale si avvicina, e con esso si avvicina la magia dell’inverno, dei suoi colori e della sua musica.
Quest’anno ho creato tre nuovi schemi che racchiudono la gioia del Natale, e ho deciso di pubblicare anche tre addobbi che hanno fatto parte della famosa rivista americana Just Cross Stitch – Christmas Ornaments negli anni 2015, 2016 e 2017. Da quest’anno saranno disponibili per tutte, anche per coloro che non hanno potuto procurarsi la rivista negli anni passati.
These drawings are very dear to me, especially the first one, and as you may have noticed, the third one, that is the little snowman, is here reproduced in red instead of in blue, as it was in the magazine.
These three decorations are part of the first set of patterns that I present you this year.
Sono disegni a me molto cari, soprattutto il primo, e come forse avrete notato, il terzo, ovvero il piccolo pupazzo di neve, è qui riproposto in rosso anziché in blu, com’era nella rivista.
Questi tre addobbi fanno parte del primo set di schemi che vi presento quest’anno.
A lot of you asked me to create another set of patterns of The Colors of Christmas series, in Pink, but I could not imagine a pink Christmas, although it is also quite fashionable. Well, this year the inspiration came by itself as soon as I thought about the sweet Sugar Plum Fairy, part of "The Nutcracker" story, and so I finally created a set of patterns dedicated to Pink Christmas, although the title is different.
In tantissime mi avevate chiesto di creare un altro set di schemi della serie The Colors of Christmas, con il colore rosa, ma non riuscivo a immaginare un Natale rosa, nonostante sia anche piuttosto di moda. Ebbene, quest’anno l’ispirazione è venuta da sé non appena ho pensato alla dolcissima Fatina Confetto del racconto “Lo Schiaccianoci”, e così ho finalmente creato un set di schemi dedicato al Natale Rosa, nonostante il titolo sia diverso.
I love dancers, and creating the Sugar Plum Fairy I tried to identify myself with a little girl and think and look with her eyes, drawing what she could appreciate.
I hope you like it and that your little girls will like it too.
Adoro le ballerine, e nel creare la Fata Confetto ho cercato di immedesimarmi in una bambina e di guardare con i suoi occhi, disegnando ciò che lei avrebbe potuto apprezzare.
Spero che vi piaccia e che piacerà anche alle vostre bambine, se ne avete.
These are just the first two patterns, but the "highlights" of Christmas 2018 will come soon, along with the last and adorable little bird of the Little Birds Calendar... On December 1st, the greatest magic will be revealed and I hope it will bring enchantment to your homes :)
Questi sono soltanto i primi due schemi, ma i “pezzi forti” del Natale 2018 arriveranno a breve, insieme all’ultimo e adorabilissimo uccellino del Little Birds Calendar… Il 1 Dicembre, la magia più grande si compirà e spero che porterà incanto nelle vostre case :)
