Arsenic and Old Lace

Un autunno inoltrato e ventoso, con le foglie secche che fluttuano nell’aria.
Una casa piena di candele. Due zie sorridenti e deliziose… e tanti ospiti soli e anziani, che vanno a trovarle per un bicchier di vino… e stranamente non tornano più a casa.

A house full of candles. Two smiling and delicious aunts... and so many lonely and old guests that go to meet them to drink a glass of wine... and strangely never return home.

Loro sono Zia Abby e Zia Martha Brewster, le due adorabili signore di Arsenico e vecchi merletti.
Due vecchine che adorano pizzi e merletti e che si “prendono cura” degli uomini anziani, rimasti soli e tanto tristi, donando loro “sollievo”…

They are Aunt Abby and Aunt Martha Brewster, the two lovely ladies of Arsenic and Old Lace.
Two sweet ladies who adore lace and that "take care" of older and sad men, giving them "relief" ...

Sotto casa, nella loro cantina, c’è posto per tutti… le tombe sono ampie e accoglienti, e per ognuno di loro le due vecchie zie celebrano un solenne e affettuoso funerale, vestite e velate di nero.
Come non amarle? ……
Se non altro si intonano perfettamente allo spirito di Halloween!

Downstairs, in their cellar, there a place for everyone... the graves are spacious and comfortable, and for each of the poor guests the two old aunts celebrate a solemn and affectionate funeral, dressed and veiled in black.
How can we not love them? ......
They are perfect for the spirit of Halloween!
