Buongiorno Ricamine! Finalmente, posso presentarvi questo set un po’ inquietante di funghetti dall’aspetto poco benevolo. Di solito immaginiamo i funghi con i colori caldi e rossicci dell’autunno, di cui ho creato il set Magic Mushrooms l’anno scorso. Ma ci sono funghi che raccontano una storia, e un’atmosfera, molto diversa, oscura e poco raccomandabile. Ne ho scelti tre, più uno segreto, e ho creato questo nuovo set tutto in bianco e nero dedicato alla parte più oscura dell’autunno e ad Halloween. Vi presento i Gothic Mushrooms!
The mushrooms I chose are the Ink Mushroom or Coprinus comatus, which when very ripe looks like it’s dripping long, black drops; then the Entoloma serrulatum, with its jet-black cap and gray stem; and finally, a very peculiar mushroom, as its name suggests, the Mycena haematopus… this mushroom, in fact, bleeds when cut! A dark red liquid that really looks like blood. I’d say it couldn’t be more gothic!
You’ll also discover a fourth, blood-colored mushroom, a secret for now, that you’ll receive as a gift along with the three in the set.
I funghi che ho scelto sono il Fungo inchiostro o Coprinus comatus, che quando è molto maturo sembra che coli di gocce lunghe e nere, poi l’Entoloma serrulatum, dal cappello nerissimo e il gambo grigio, e infine un fungo molto particolare, come si intuisce dal nome, il Mycena haematopus… questo fungo, se tagliato infatti, sanguina! Un liquido rosso scuro che sembra davvero sangue. Direi che più gotici di così non si può!
Scoprirete anche un quarto funghetto, color sangue, per adesso segreto, che riceverete in regalo insieme ai tre del set.
With these patterns, you can create Halloween ornaments, or, if you love gothic elements, you could frame them individually and make little pictures.
