Miss Butterfly - FREE

Good morning, Stitchers! As I mentioned yesterday, I prepared a new little gift for you, which I’m sure you’ll love. This time of year is always the most difficult for me, the one that makes me doubt this work and my ability to design patterns you’ll like. But I’m moving forward anyway, and I’m starting again from here, with a free pattern that can bring you joy and fun.
This little summer butterfly, the lively Miss Butterfly, is the Miss Bee little sister. You can create an ornament like the one in the photo, which will look beautiful in your potted plants or hung to flutter in the breeze in your home. You can make it however you like!

Old MacDonald Had a Farm

Dear Stitchers, with a little delay on my programs, I’m happy to show you my new pattern dedicated to one of the funniest songs every child knows from their earliest years: “Old MacDonald Had a Farm”. I designed this pattern with my beloved little animals in mind, which you’ve also loved so much over the years. I’ve designed twelve animals, some similar to the ones I’ve already made, others completely new, and all of them surround the beautiful farmhouse among the sunflowers.

Carissime Ricamatrici, con un po’ di ritardo rispetto ai miei programmi, sono felice di potervi mostrare il mio nuovo schema dedicato a una delle canzoni più divertenti che ogni bambino conosce sin dai primi anni, ovvero “Nella Vecchia Fattoria”. Ho disegnato questo schema pensando proprio ai miei amati animaletti, che anche voi avete amato tanto in questi anni. Ne ho disegnati dodici, alcuni simili a quelli già fatti, altri completamente nuovi, e tutti circondano la bella fattoria immersa fra i girasoli. In lingua originale la canzoncina si intitola “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” così ho chiamato lo schema in questo modo.


The pattern features all the farm animals, including the dog and cat, the pig, the goat, the cow, the chicken, and all the others!
As always, you can create the complete pattern or the individual animals finished as ornaments. The central farm can also be finished as an ornament, so you can have fun creating whatever you want with this funny pattern, which brings many of us back to childhood.

Nello schema trovate proprio tutti gli animali che ci sono nelle fattorie, fra i quali il cane e il gatto, il maialino, la capretta, la mucca, la gallina e tutti gli altri!
Potete realizzare, come sempre, lo schema completo, oppure i singoli animaletti incorniciati, come ornaments. Anche la fattoria centrale può diventare un ornament, per cui potete sbizzarrirvi a creare ciò che volete con questo schema divertente, che fa tornare bambine molte di noi.

Jane Eyre Doll

Good evening, dear Stithcers! As I mentioned, I’m happy to present you the Jane Eyre Doll, very simple because of the simplicity of the period clothing, but accompanied by a lovely mantle that you can cut out and sew for her using a soft wool or cotton cloth. Combining two different styles, the cross stitch with the woolen dress, was perhaps a risky idea, but I love the result. In any case, if you don’t like it, you can also see the version of the doll without the cape.

Buonasera carissime Ricamine! Come vi accennavo, sono felice di presentarvi la bambola di Jane Eyre, molto semplice per la semplicità stessa degli abiti dell’epoca ma corredata da un grazioso mantello che potete ritagliare e cucire per lei utilizzando un panno di lana o cotone morbido. Unire due stili diversi, il ricamo con l’abito di lana è stata un’idea forse azzardata ma adoro il risultato. In ogni caso, se non vi piace, potete vedere anche la versione della bambola senza mantello.


In this version, Jane is the sweet and resolute governess who walk through the moors on cloudy and foggy days, a girl who is perhaps a little melancholy but with a strong and profound character.

In questa versione Jane è la dolce e risoluta istitutrice che passeggia nella brughiera nelle giornate nuvolose e nebbiose, una fanciulla forse un po’ malinconica ma dal carattere forte e profondo.


I hope you enjoy the doll, and if you want to stitch her, she will keep you company.

Jane Eyre at Thornfield Hall

Hello dear Stitchers, today I can finally show you my third and final pattern part of my series dedicated to Charlotte Brontë’s beloved novel, Jane Eyre, one of the most beautiful novels ever written. After dedicating a pattern to Jane and a quote from the book, and another pattern to little Jane at Lowood School, I wanted to portray Jane in the place where her destiny is fulfilled, Thornfield Hall, Mr. Rochester’s home, where she goes to work as governess to little Adele.

Buongiorno carissime Ricamatrici, oggi posso finalmente mostrarvi il mio terzo e ultimo schema che fa parte della mia serie dedicata all’amato romanzo di Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre, uno dei più belli mai scritti. Dopo aver dedicato uno schema a Jane e a una delle citazioni tratte dal libro, e un altro schema alla piccola Jane alla scuola di Lowood, ho voluto ritrarre Jane nel luogo dove il suo destino si compie, ovvero Thornfield Hall, la dimora di Mr. Rochester nella quale lei va a lavorare come istitutrice della piccola Adele.


I chose my beloved icy gray colors to evoke the place, immersed in the mist of the moors yet at the same time warm in the beige of the walls and the hearts of those who live there: loving yet hidden by the ice.

Ho scelto i miei amati colori grigio-ghiaccio per evocare il luogo immerso nella foschia delle brughiere ma al contempo caldo nei beige delle mura e del cuore di chi lo abita: amorevole seppur nascosto dal ghiaccio.


I love Jane dearly, and I hope you enjoy this third and final pattern and that it reminds you of the settings and a hint of the beauty of the novel and the movies based on it.

Little Long-Tailed Tit

Hello, dear Stitchers! Today I’m happy to show you to a new bird that I know many of you love, and that one of you asked me to draw: the little long-tailed tit! If you happen to see it in the woods, you’ll notice a little ball flying with a long, black and white tail! They’re incredibly sweet, and their song is even sweeter. Given their apricot-toned colors, I chose a very spring-like fabric, but you can make it however you like.

Buongiorno carissime Ricamine! Oggi sono felice di presentarvi un nuovo uccellino che so che molte di voi amano e che una di voi mi aveva chiesto di disegnare, il piccolo codibugnolo, anche chiamato codalunga! Se vi capita di vederlo nei boschi noterete una pallina che vola con una coda lunga lunga, bianca e nera! Sono dolcissimi e il loro canto lo è ancora di più. Dati i colori che tendono alle sfumature dell’albicocca, ho scelto una stoffa abbinata molto primaverile, ma potete confezionarlo come preferite.

New Welcome Spring - Lavender version

My dear Stitchers, here in Italy in these past few days, winter has given way to the first warm sunshine and the beginnings of rebirth. The scent of spring is in the air, and there’s no better time to present the new version of my Welcome Spring, this time with a color change I adore. This version features all the shades of lavender! The pattern is the same as the turquoise one you already knew, but I wanted to give it a softer, more delicate hue, perfect for spring. So even the lavender bouquet in one of the squares is finally the right shade. I hope you enjoy this new version!

Carissime Ricamine, in questi ultimi giorni l’inverno ha lasciato spazio al primo sole caldo e a un principio di rinascita. il profumo della primavera è nell’aria e non c’è momento migliore per presentarvi la nuova versione del mio Welcome Spring, questa volta con un cambio di colori che adoro. Questa versione infatti contiene tutte le sfumature del color lavanda! Lo schema è lo stesso che conoscevate già in turchese, ma ho voluto dargli una colorazione più tenue, morbida e dolce, perfetta per la primavera. Così anche il mazzetto di lavanda di uno dei quadranti è finalmente del suo giusto colore. Spero che questa nuova versione vi piaccia!

Welcome Winter

My dear Stitchers, good evening everyone! I know many of you have been waiting for it, and finally the pattern that concludes the “Welcome Season” series is ready. I’m delighted to present you Welcome Winter! I’ve chosen my favorite colors: ice grays, a soft, pale beige, and, of course, a blaze of white. Each color is delicate, even silent, so as not to disturb winter, its slumbering nature, which is still full of magic and enchantment.

Carissime Ricamine, buonasera a tutte! So che in molte lo stavate aspettando, e finalmente lo schema che conclude la serie “Welcome Season” è pronto, vi presento con gioia il Welcome Winter! Ho scelto i colori che amo di più, i grigi ghiaccio, un beige morbido e tenue, e ovviamente un tripudio di bianco. Ogni colore è delicato, oserei dire silenzioso, per non disturbare l’inverno, con il sonno, la natura addormentata eppure piena di magia e incanto.


In this pattern, you’ll find everything that makes this white season magical: the snowflake, the snowman, the winter animals or the fawn, the tufted titmouse with its little house, and the stoat. And then everything you need for fun in the snow and ice: gloves, skis and ice skates. And of course, there are the candles that make winter and solstice evenings magical.
I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as the previous ones! I have to say it’s my favorite, but I love winter so much – I was born in winter, and I couldn’t choose a more beloved season.

In questo schema troverete tutto ciò che rende magica questa candida stagione: il fiocco di neve, il pupazzo di neve, poi gli animaletti invernali, il cerbiatto, la cincia bicolore (Baeolophus bicolor) con la sua casetta, e l’ermellino, e poi tutto l’occorrente per divertirsi sulla neve e sul ghiaccio, ovvero i guantini, gli sci con le racchette e i pattini da ghiaccio. E poi non potevano mancare le candele che rendono magiche le serate invernali e solstiziali.
Spero che questo schema vi piaccia, quanto gli altri precedenti! Io devo dire che è il mio preferito, ma io amo troppo l’inverno, sono nata in inverno, e non potrei scegliere un’altra stagione più cara di questa.


You’ll probably think the series is over, and indeed it is… but as I mentioned some time ago, I had an idea for a different color palette for spring, to give those who prefer it a color alternative. So, the new Welcome Spring will be arriving soon, in a… different look! I hope you love it!

For now, I’ll leave you with my beloved Welcome Winter, and with warm wishes for a continued magical winter!

Probabilmente penserete che la serie sia conclusa, e in effetti è così… ma come accennavo qualche tempo fa, ho avuto un’idea su una palette di colori diversa per la primavera, così da dare un’alternativa di colore a chi la preferirà. Pertanto presto arriverà il nuovo Welcome Spring in una veste… diversa! Spero lo amerete!

Per adesso vi lascio con il caro Welcome Winter, e con un augurio affettuoso di buon proseguimento di magico inverno!
